The Blue & Coral Head Backpack will not stand up on it’s own if empty. It’s designed to lay on the ground or against the fence when not in use. There is some padding on the sides of the back but not a lot depending on what you are looking for. Our feeling is this backpack is designed for the basic back and forth to the pickleball court holding your paddles, shoes and a couple of smaller items.
