The weights (lightweight and standard versions) of the Engage EX and MX paddles are the same. The difference between the paddles is the paddle dimensions. The EX version is 16" x 8" with a 5" handle length while the MX version is 16.5" x 7.5" with a 6" handle length. With the longer dimensions the MX is best for additional reach, power and spin while the EX is best for the perfect balance between reach, power and control.
