When paddles are made the exact weight cannot be predicted, that is why paddles usually have a weight range. In this case like most manufacturers that do a standard and light version of the paddle they weigh each paddle after it is made it and then separate them into standard and light versions. The Gravity paddle is 8.1 ounces and the LITE version is 7.6 ounces. So the only difference is the weight.
