The main difference is the surface, the EX Pro uses a FiberTEK high compression skin (generates more spin on hits while the thick ControlPro core improves touch and power.) while the Poach uses a Chemical Bonded Fiberglass face (exceptionally soft and provides ultimate control with a firmer solid hitting surface with a large sweet spot).
Both paddles are 3/5" (.06) thick
