A lighter paddle is for more control and manuervability at the net while a heavier paddle will generate more power. So the featherweight version would be best for control and the Standard Weight best for power, the LITE Weight would be the best mix for power and control as far as weight. The Pursuit 6.0 edition has a 5/8" thick core that gives you more control while the Regular (NOT 6.0 version) has a 1/2" core for similar control but more power. The difference between the MX and EX versions is just the head size and handle length, the MX has a longer head and handle (longer handles are usually used by people with 2 handed backhands) at (16 1/2" x 7 1/2") with a 5 3/4" handle. vs (16" x 8") with a 5" handle. The Pursuit 6.0 version with a featherweight would be best for control while the Pursuit (regular version) Standard Weight would be best for power. The choice of EX vs MX would then depend on your play style if you like a longer handle with a thinner head or the more tradition paddle size/shape.
