how do you monitor the quality of used rackets

I'm trying to decide whether to buy used or new. How you do monitor the quality of your used rackets? I presume they're all in pretty good shape or otherwise you wouldn't re-sell them?

The used paddles we have on our site are 30-day returned paddles that have minimal use on them. You will see minor scuffs on the edge-guard and/or superficial blemishes on the paddles surface, usually ball-marks. Because we want to offer quality used paddles, these are not eligible for the 30-day test drive program. We do, however, back the paddles against normal-play defects for 30 days from purchase.
