The core and surface materials are different. The CX11 series has a T-700 Carbon fiber core (absorbs more energy allowing better control) with a 3K Woven Carbon Fiber surface (reduces vibration more than the GX5) while the GX5 has a solid span core and a Carbon Fiber surface. We will be adding the CX11 and CX14 paddles to our demo program soon. That will be the best method for you to pick which feels and plays best for you.
