The 2.0 series has a Quantum-Carbon Fiber surface vs a QuadCarbon surface for the Hybrid. The 2.0 series has more power while the Hybrid series is a balance between control and power. The 2.0 series has a larger sweet spot so it is more forgiving on off center contact. The 2.0 series also features a Gen2 Durable Surface, the Gen2 Durable Surface offers wear-resistance that outperforms previous generations (this isnt just a marketing thing it really does work).
