Getting Python grips on a paddle can be tricky but it is possible. You will have to stretch the grip as much as you can, then we typically use hairspray to glide the grip over the handle. You can also use WD40. However, do not use gasgacinch glue on the smooth tacky grip as that will ruin the grip.
We made a video on how to install a similar grip on a racquetball racquet. Once again, do not use the glue from the video as that only works with the rubber grip and not the tacky grip.
