Selkirk has many great options for beginner players. The Halo series is one of our most popular paddles for newer players that still want a great paddle with carbon fiber surface. Another option for a less expensive paddle will be the EVO series. In both cases we typically recommend new players to pickleball and especially any paddle sport, use a thicker paddle core and a wider paddle. Such as a Max Control in the case of Selkirk's paddles.
