Yes it is USAP approved and can be used in tournaments. If you are worried about certain tournaments allowing this paddle, I'm assuming due to the color, you can check with the tournament director. If the ball they are using matches very closely with a paddle's color they do have the right to not allow certain colored paddles. However, that very rarely happens in my experience.
