Excellent Edgeless Paddle---Except for one thing

This would easily be a 5 star review except for one issue (mentioned later). The paddle excels with spin, control, feel, and 'sturdiness'. There is none of the vibration that I have experienced from other edgeless paddles. It also has plenty of power for me personally. I truly like the paddle very very much.
The ONLY issue I have is that the edges are almost brittle. I have played INDOORS twice with the paddle and the edge is chipping pretty badly. (not simply paint chipping) I actually got a splinter in my finger from rubbing one of the chipped spots. No foreign object has been hit other than a pickleball and tapping paddles with a double partner after good shots. This issue can certainly be managed with edge guards and/or tape.....but please make sure you cover the edges before playing. Especially if you are going to play outdooors. I have played with other edgeless paddles and never experienced this type of wear. It is pretty severe considering the paddle has not touched the ground, played indoors only, and only played a few games in 2 days. Simply be prepared to protect the edge of the paddle and you will be impressed with this paddle's playability.
