Welcome to the PickleballGalaxy Demo Program
Our Pickleball Paddle Demo Program has a maximum quantity of 1 due to the overwhelming popularity of the Demo Program.
We have one of the a largest pickleball paddle DEMO exchange's in the country. And here's how it all works....The total charge for the whole program is $30. Your hard earned money gets you the following:
- 2 DEMO Paddles of your choice (for up to 7 days)
- 2nd Day FedEx shipping to you
- FedEx return prepaid shipping tag
- $5 Off Loyalty Code towards the purchase of a paddle (within 30 days from return date)
- Random Color of the Model you select will be sent
When checking out after making your online demo purchase, make sure you choose the demo shipping method instead of standard FedEx ground. (if you purchase other products along with the demo program the DEMO shipping option will only appear if the added weight is under 2 lbs. If other items are in your cart that weigh more than 2 lbs there will be shipping costs associated with the additional items but will exclude the weight of the demo paddles)
Be aware that due to the popularity of this program there may be a delay in shipping the paddles you choose. You will receive an e-mail with a tracking number when your paddles actually ship. If we can't ship your chosen DEMOs within 5 days of your order we will contact you. Just because your order went through does not mean they are shipping that day. It means you are in the lineup to receive the paddles.
We have to run a tight ship so please be timely on your returns. There is a late fee for paddles kept beyond your 7 days. You agree to this when you join this program. Please remember there is a person in line after you waiting. (The 7 days does not include ship time).
On the lighter side...these are DEMOs...go have some fun...share them with your friends!! If anything happens to them you are not in trouble!! These are DEMOS...#*$@ happens! Stop playing and give us a call.(518-438-3935)
Please be aware that you may order gloves or smaller items along with your DEMO Program. However, if you order items that require a different size box, they will be shipped separately unless otherwise specified.
PickleballGalaxy.Com's DEMO Program is only available to Continental USA addresses. You must ship your paddles back in the same box we shipped them to you in or further charges may be applied. 2nd Day Air is based on dimensional weight of our cute little boxes.

For people who are just getting started and don't have a large group of pickleball playing friends or a club or spot with a ton of demo paddles to try, the demo program through Pickleball Galaxy is a godsend.
Being able to demo any paddle in the lineup and get an idea of wants and needs, likes and dislikes, preferences on certain style of paddles for $30 really allows for experimentation and knowing that when you do decide to buy, you're getting something you know you like and are looking forward to own.

I was able to test 2 newer versions of my older Selkirk Amped Maxima, to compare the lightweight and middleweight side by side, while playing...thanks to this great demo program.
In the end I decided that I liked my older version better for the shape and balance (although the differences were not very much), and the newer version for the paddle-face 'feel' when hitting the ball.

I tested them out for 7 days, then packed them up in their original shipping box and dropped them at FedEx. The paddle selection is huge. Great program. I'm in the market for a new paddle. This is a very nice way to try out different paddles that you may be interested in. I would still say do your research beforehand, to see which paddles you want to try (it'll cut down on cost). I did the program twice (tried 4 paddles), and settled on a paddle. I also let other players I play with borrow them, to see if they like them, which is nice for them. The paddles came within a week of ordering, and returning paddles is easy. It would be nice to be able to borrow 3 paddles, as I've seen on other websites, but I like working with Pickleball Galaxy.

My guru told me the basic parameters to use to select a paddle, weight, grip size, center of gravity (balance), and head shape. That led me to the paddle I use successfully now. I scoured the list of demo paddles for those that matched my basic parameters and selected a couple with different core materials and different paddle surfaces. They arrived, I tried them for a week, so did my friends, and am able now to understand the difference in behavior of both core material and surface material. The whole process of ordering and return was like clockwork, simple, and an overall pleasure.

If you are planning to spend over $100 for a new paddle and have been unable to borrow friends' paddles to try them, PickleballGalaxy's demo program is the way to go. My wife and I demo'd eight paddles between us, and the differences between paddles was apparent. We are very happy we demo'd before buying and we were very pleased with PG's customer service.

I rented two of the most expensive paddles on the market. One looked new, the other in very good condition. They helped me decide which I wanted to purchase.
The paddles shipped to me within a few days. They were stacked one on the other within a bubble wrap bag. I returned them within 7 days. I placed the paddles back in the bag, removed the old label, stuck the included return label on the box, taped the box closed, and dropped it off at a FedEx drop (Walgreens). Very easy.

I travel quite a bit for work and my 2 paddles unfortunately didn’t come as quickly as I thought and I was scheduled to be out of town when they arrived.
I only had to send an email to explain that I wouldn’t be able to try the paddles in the timeframe and they responded immediately.
I received additional time to try them and the additional fee was waived. We agreed upon a date to send them back with no hassle.

I can't say enough good about the Pickleball Galaxy demo program. I tried them and another website's demo program and they were head and shoulders above. On my first demo batch, a guy actually called me because they didn't have the paddle I wanted available for some time so I got to substitute another paddle I wanted to try out. And I got my paddles 2 days later.
So I cancelled my demo order with another website because after nearly 3 weeks I hadn't heard from them and ordered the paddle demos from PB Galaxy. They were shipped 2 days later. And I'm sure I'll get them in 2 days.

I love that Pickleball Galaxy offers players the opportunity to choose just about any brand of paddle one can think of to demo. Trying to figure out what paddle is best for my wife, we were able to test two paddles on the court before making the purchase. She liked both paddles when she picked them up in the store, and held them in her hand, when they arrived. But once she got to play with them, both paddles, turned out, to not be the ones she felt comfortable playing, so this program saved us at least $150 bucks. Found out that until you get to play with the equipment you don't really know how it performs.
