You can look at our Pickleball Paddle Comparison Chart to compare all the paddle specs. If you are playing singles then the game is very similar to tennis and you will probably want a paddle that generates a lot of power, nomex core paddles tend to have a lot of power. If you are playing doubles, once you get adjusted to the fact that it isn't like tennis and power isn't king you may want to get a paddle with a balance of power and control. Also some people from tennis prefer a 2 handed backhand, if this is you look at the specs for paddles with long handles (made for 2 handers). One other thing to note is the grip size. Pickleball paddles come in smaller grip sizes than tennis for more wrist action. If you still prefer the fell of a larger grip like tennis you can build up the grip using overwrap grips to get to your desired size. You can also try our pickleball paddle demo program to test out a paddle before purchasing one. You can find out more about selecting a pickleball paddle weight
