The paddle is only manufactured with a 4 1/4 inch grip. The only option to make the grip smaller would be to remove the grip from the paddle and use a wrap grip over the bare paddle, then build it up to your desired size. The drawback is that the grip isnt as soft, spongy as a regular grip if you do this, it is just a wrap grip over the handle.
