This is a replacement grip so if you remove the current grip and replace it with this grip there should be no noticeable change in size but it really depends on what paddle/grip you are replacing. If you are intending to protect your current grip you should use an overwrap grip. 1 wrap with an overwrap adds about 1/16 of an inch and can be wrapped as many times as you like.
