(4.0 player)... So, I went on a hunt for the right paddle over the last 3 months. Tried a Vulcan control paddle. Tried the Prince Pro Response. Tried the Amped Epic in the midweight, loved the grip / size / feel, but felt like the weight was just a tiny bit heavy for quick hand reaction time at the net. So, ordered the Amped Epic in the lightweight version... PERFECT. I love the Selkirk grip size and style. The lightweight version really helps me feel more in control on net volleys and hand battles, the general size of controlled feel of the paddle is just what I was looking for. Love it!

Really loving my AMPED Epic Lighweight paddle. I had originally purchased the Medium weight, but felt like I was losing a tiny bit of reaction time at the net with the extra weight, so ordered the same paddle in lightweight instead... perfect. Selkirk handle lengths and circumferences are spot on and have great feel. The paddle feel is soft and controlled, but with plenty of power when needed. You won't be disappointed.

It took a couple days to adjust to the larger diameter handle and extra weight of this lightweight paddle, but the cushioned handle is very comfortable and the handle length does not make the paddle feel too heavy. The quietness of the paddle is definitely noticeable and very quiet. Due to the larger sweet spot I am hitting the balls more easily with precision resulting in longer play. Paddle weight, after a few days, feels like an extension of my arm and not a heavy feel. Prior paddle was a beginner level and I this one will accelerate my game improvement and should adapt well to all skill levels as I progress further. And Pickleball Galaxy handled my order quickly and shipment was top notch.
