Out of the box it felt a little dead. After about 8 hours of playing time it got way faster. Now, after 12 hours of play it has alot of pop.

Paddle right out of the box had zero power. Seems that gearbox has a major quality control problem going on here. Just check all the youtube comments on reviews. Lucky I bought here because myself and several other people who have these will be returning. It seems gearbox sent all the reviewers loaded paddles to get good reviews then shipped consumers dead paddles. I sent mine to John Kew Pickleball my paddle for another opinion.
