I’ve been playing about six months and decided it was time to upgrade. I’m 63 years old and developed tennis elbow so I wanted a quality product. I’ve read tons of reviews trying to decide and chose Paddletek Bantam EX-L. I read that it had reduced vibrations and after playing with it for 3 weeks, my elbow is almost painless now. Big bonus is that it has also helped me with tons more control compared to my beginner paddle. I can now throw away the packaging because I will not be returning this paddle to Pickleball Galaxy. Thanks for your great return policy though.

I recently purchased the Bantam EX-L trying to upgrade and improve my game from a 3.5 to 4.0 with a little more power. I was a little disappointed with my purchase. I felt the paddle length was a little shorter than what I was expecting, the sweet spot seemed to be a little small, I didn't prefer the square handle, and I didn't feel I got the "pop" I was looking for. I let someone else use the paddle that was looking for an upgrage and they really liked it and bought it from me. It was a good paddle, just not the right fit for me.

I bought this paddle on recommendation of experienced player. He recommended this for reasonably strong male beginner since it is mid-weight and has good ball control and is quiet on return. It is of high enough quality to carry into intermediate ranks.
