GX5 CS/PS and GX6 CS/PS Comparison
The GX5 Series features an Even Balanced paddle with a large sweetspot for Maximum Manuverability while the GX6 Series features a longer paddle for Maximum Spin and Extended Reach with an Elongated sweetspot. Both the GX5 and GX6 Series have Power and Control paddles.

This is a great paddle for power with control! I came from the gearbox cp7. what an upgrade! my game went to another level instantly! the paddle is a lot more forgiving. the solid span technology is the best out there! you have to give it a try!

This paddle is great for quick exchanges at the net (very light and maneuverable), and great for 3rd shot drops into the kitchen from the baseline. I do not like it as well as some of my other paddles for drives from the baseline, and so it is not a paddle I will use for singles.

I had been holding off on investing in a better (and more expensive) paddle. The other honeycomb paddles didn't seem to justify the price for me. This paddle is a game changer for me. The increase in touch in my dinks and drives as well as the increase in spin upped my game. Love it!

This is my favorite paddle. I can generate way more spin than with my other paddles (Selkirk, Paddletek, and ProKennex). It's not even close. As a former tennis player, I find the length is just right.

I bought the heavier version of the GX6 and am very pleased with the paddle. I love the 'thump' sound when hitting and also love the solid feel whether hitting dinks or placement shots. I compare the feeling to hitting with a wood baseball bat versus the aluminum bat feel which honeycomb core paddles provide.

I use this paddle outdoor when it’s not windy outside. This paddle has great power and control. During a game I can block shots with ease due to its light weight quality. I’m looking into owning the control series in the future. These paddles by far for me the most versatile paddle in terms of power, control, reach, versatile, and comfortable to play with.

I demoed a Gearbox GX6 2 weeks before nationals last year and changed over immediately! The touch and feel is incredible and made the 3rd shot a consistent weapon whether a drop or drive. It feels evenly weighted and it extremely durable. I have large hands and wasn’t sure about the thinner handle but it felt great in the hand. Just bought my second for no other reason than to have a backup because I couldn’t imagine playing with my old paddle again.
